How to Update Drivers in Windows xp

After instilling the windows xp the first things comes to instill the Universal Drivers to windows xp. In today class i am teaching you that how to instill the Universal drivers to your windows xp. I am gonna share 2 simple and easy way to instill the your system drivers.

Why we instill the Universal driver to our system?

We instill Universal driver to our PC computer to support the video (VGA) and sound. If we did not instill the sound driver to our PC computer then we can not hear the sound of all things in our PC computer. For example we did not instill the Ethernet controller driver and we want to use the internet with local aria connection, so we can not use our local aria internet connection until we did not instill the Ethernet controller driver.

So here is the two simple way to instill the Drivers to your PC computer.

Ways to update drivers in Windows xp :

1st way to instill the Universal Drivers:

So first of all right click on My computer icon and click the Properties AS shown in the below figure.

After click on the Properties, the system properties will be open then click on the Hardware as shown in the below figure.

After clicking on Hardware click on the Device Manager as shown in the below figure.

After clicking on the Device Manager then device manager will be open. Now for example our Ethernet driver is not instilled and we want to instill the driver. So this very simple to instill the Ethernet driver, just right click on the Ethernet driver and click on the update driver. As shown in the below figure.

After clicking on update driver the Hardware Update Wizard will be open. Select "yes, this time only and then click on the Next as shown in the below figure.

Then select the "instill the software automatically (Recommended)" in the Hardware Update Wizard and then click on the next as shown in below figure.

After clicking one Next the Hardware Update Wizard searches your Ethernet driver as shown in the below figure.

After sometime the Wizard search find the driver and instill automatically as shown in the below figure.

After completing instillation click on the Finish as shown in the below figure.

After clicking on Finish your Ethernet driver is instill successfully. This process will be complete if you have a disk of Universal drivers in your CD ROM.

And if you Bring Universal drivers in a USB mass storage or you download the Universal drivers of any website then how to instill the drivers.

So for example you copy the universal drivers to your dicktop. Then how can we instill the drivers, so for this method follow the 2nd way to instill the Universal Drivers.

2nd way to instill the Universal drivers :

First of all open Hardware Update Wizard and select the "Instill from a list or specific location (Advanced)" and click on "Next". As shown in the below figure.

After doing this do the settings as shown in the below figure and then click on "Browse".

After clicking on Browse, select the "Universal drivers" folder from Disktop and then click on "Ok" as shown in the below figure.

If you your driver save folder in an a USB mass storage or in Local disk D then browse the my computer and then click on D and then select your folder in which your are save the Universal drivers and then click on "Ok".

After clicking on "OK" then click on the "Next" as shown in below figure.

The Hardware Update Wizard searches the your driver as shown in the below figure. Wait for some time for this while wizard find you driver.

After some time the wizard search find you driver and instillation will be start automatically as shown in the below figure.

After completely instillation click on "Finish". As shown in the below figure.
